Like many successful cocktails today, the Eastside Sour is a contemporary take on a classic. Inspired by the Pisco Sour, this cocktail has a rich silky mouth feel with the perfect balance of sweet and citrus. First, Bombay Sapphire East is used showcasing its lemon grass and peppercorn-driven botanicals. Then, St. Germain is introduced for its sweet and delicate elderflower flavors. Finally, egg whites and fresh lime juice is added for a silky texture and balance. The wonderful flavors of gin are present but subtle. Altogether, this cocktail is perfect for introducing the vodka drinker to the world of gin. Just don’t let them know about the egg whites…
